Two WWE talents have received new names, with one name change taking place ahead of their debut on NXT TV.
Dani Raye Sekelsky, who was the female winner of WWE LFG season two, received an official name change to Skylar Raye on Tuesday night after it was announced she would face Fallon Henley in the first round of the tournament to crown a new WWE Speed Women's Champion.
Sekelsky won season two of WWE LFG by defeating PJ Vasa. Outside of LFG, the former NFL cheerleader has performed regularly at NXT house shows since April.
A new WWE signing in Nathaniel Cranton has also received their official in-ring name as they announced on social media they would be known as Nathan Angel going forward. Using their 2024 appearance in the Mister International competition, Angel looks set to adopt a superiority gimmick, having tweeted: "The shepherd doesn't concern himself with the opinion of the sheep."
Cranton was announced as part of the latest WWE Performance Center class in October along with the likes of Aigle Blanc, Mike D Vecchio, Zozaya, and Dusan Novakovic.
Another WWE talent who underwent a name change this week is Zelina Vega, as her name was shortened to simply Zelina.
