Tyler Bate Under Consideration For WWE Main Roster Call Up

WWE Main Roster call-up being considered for Tyler Bate

Tyler Bate has been busy honing his craft in NXT and NXT UK for several years now, but it seems the former WWE UK Champion could finally be on his way to the main roster.

Bate is set to compete at the upcoming NXT Deadline event in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge Match, and a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that talks have been ongoing regarding a Bate call-up.

Meltzer says such talks have been happening in WWE, and with Triple H in charge as opposed to avowed ‘body guy’ Vince McMahon, Bate has a shot at making it on the main roster, despite his somewhat short stature.

Bate’s long-time British Strong Style team-mate/rival Pete Dunne has been on main for a few years now as Butch, and rumours have suggested that the known ‘Triple H guy’ could be in line for a meaningful push. If Bate does get called up, it remains to be seen if he will be paired up with Dunne in any way.
