Tyson Fury Accepts Challenge From WWE Champion Drew McIntyre

The next Saudi pay-per-view could have its main event...

On last night's episode of Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre defended his newly won WWE Championship for the first time against The Big Show. Fans' hearts were in their mouths when The World's Largest Athlete Chokeslammed the champion, but McIntyre powered out at two. The Scottish Psychopath then fought back and connected with the Claymore Kick to retain the WWE title.

Having emerged victorious in his first title defence, McIntyre's next challenger may have revealed themselves as during an interview with talkSPORT, the WWE Champion called out heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and said he was "coming" for him.

McIntyre said: "I know Tyson Fury is on the show today, as well. I need to bring up Fury because he was talking trash about me, so I know he's coming on the show. Tell him 'I saw what you said about me.' He didn't care who won the match, he thought I was going to win and thinks he can smash me. Just let him know 'Fury I've won the championship, now I'm paying attention to you.' After I beat Sutton, I'm coming for Fury."

The WBC Heavyweight Champion seems to be up for the match as he accepted the challenge on Instagram. Fury wrote: "@dmcintyrewwe has call me out after his @wwe Wrestlemania 36 victory, first I say congratulations and what a fantastic job. Secondly I accept his challenge, anytime any place, anywhere."
