Tyson Fury Expresses Interest In WWE Return At SummerSlam, Cardiff PPV

Will the Heavyweight champion wrestle again?

Could Tyson Fury be on his way back to WWE? The reigning WBC and The Ring Heavyweight champion would like to make it so.

After defeating Dillian Whyte via sixth round TKO yesterday at Wembley Stadium, Fury spoke about a possible wrestling comeback in his post-fight presser, specifically naming two events taking place over the coming months.

"Don't rule me out of fighting there. You might see me at SummerSlam coming up soon," Fury said. "I got to speak to Vince and the boys, maybe make this happen. I know this Drew McIntyre has been saying a lot of things about me. I have to knock him out.

I'd love to be at Cardiff. I'd love to be back in the center stage in the UK, especially for the wrestling. I enjoyed it last time in Saudi Arabia. It was fantastic. So to come here and do it would be phenomenal, and we're gonna we're definitely gonna make a bit of contact and see can we make that SummerSlam thing a reality."

The Cardiff event in question takes place Saturday, September 3 at Principality Stadium. It has not yet been given a name.
