Tyson Fury Issues Challenge To WWE Champion Drew McIntyre

Fury's already wrestled for WWE once...

Reigning WBC and The Ring Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury had one foray with WWE last autumn (defeating Braun Strowman by countout at Crown Jewel), and is looking for another.

Fury had made rumblings before about wanting to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE title, and he verbalized that sentiment in a video posted on his Twitter on Sunday.

"Been sitting on the train, on my way home after a long and busy weekend, and I'm thinking about people I want to punch in the face," Fury sbegan. "And the first one that springs to mind is a big fella called Drew McIntyre. Now Drew, you've been having quite a bit to say about me lately. I'd love to punch your face in, honestly.

"So, grow a pair, step up to the plate...and come fight the master — me. So, this is an official challenge video to Drew McIntyre, the WWE Heavyweight Champion of the world. I already knocked your pal out, Braun Strowman. I'll do the same to you. Bring it."

McIntyre first made mention of a possible defense against Fury back in April, shortly after winning the championship at WrestleMania 36. He said he'd have no issue facing Fury, but that the regular roster would get title shots first.
