The last few years have seen plenty of crossover between WWE and many notable figures in the pop culture world. When it comes to those competing in the ring, the likes of Johnny Knoxville, Bad Bunny, and Logan Paul have all wrestled in notable matches, the latter of which has also reigned as the WWE United States Champion.

With the TKO merger between WWE and the UFC, many have expected some form of crossover at some point in the near future, though nothing major has happened yet. One individual who is eyeing up a big crossover is UFC star Tom Aspinall, the reigning Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion. Speaking in an interview with The Schmo, Aspinall eyed up teaming up teaming WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

“That’s my retirement plan [move to WWE] Cody Rhodes is my guy. Me and Cody, we’ll have a match one day. I think we might team up, me and Cody Rhodes because we’re both babyfaces, aren’t we? Maybe we could fight Jon Jones and whoever the heel is over there. Who’s the main heel, well, John Cena just turned heel. Cody Rhodes and Tom Aspinall tag team versus Jon Jones and John Cena, babyfaces versus heels. Big matchup.”

Rhodes recently had a run-in with another celebrity, Travis Scott, who legitimately gave Rhodes a busted eardrum and black eye in an angle at the Royal Rumble event.
