NWA Paranoia to feature the Ultimate Match of Death
An Ultimate Match of Death will headline the National Wrestling Alliance's upcoming Paranoia signature live event on January 13. The show will be taped at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The Ultimate Match of Death will be for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship as EC3 puts the 'Ten Pounds of Gold' on the line against Matt Cardona. The challenger issued the challenge to EC3 on the December 12 episode of NWA Powerrr and the match was made official one week later. The match will be the main event of NWA Paranoia.
EC3 has been NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion since he defeated Tyrus in a Bull Rope Match for the title at NWA 75. He has successfully defended the title against the likes of Thom Latimer, Fodder, Jay Bradley, and Talos so far.
Matt Cardona is a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, having held the belt for 119 days in 2022 before he was forced to vacate the championship due to injury.
Other talents advertised for NWA Paranoia include Kenzie Page, Blunt Force Trauma, Aron Stevens, The Southern Six, Pretty Empowered, and Billy Corgan.
