Unique Stipulation Match & More Set For NJPW Declaration Of Power

Three new matches have been set for New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Declaration Of Power show from Ryogoku Sumo Hall on October 10, including a unique stipulation match.

When Shingo Takagi and El Phantasmo clash for the KOPW 2022 Trophy, they will face off in a 'Who's Your Daddy' Match. The contest will be fought under normal pro wrestling rules but the loser must concede to the winner after the match that 'you are my daddy.' 

The match came about due to ELP's repeated declarations that he is Shingo's daddy since defeating him during the G1 Climax. Shingo then pinned Phantasmo in a tag match to end the Burning Spirit tour which led to a confrontation backstage.  

Taiji Ishimori and KUSHIDA will also finally face off in singles action at Declaration Of Power but the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship will not be on the line. Ren Narita will also return from excursion for his homecoming match against an unnamed opponent. 

Already set for Declaration of Power is Kazuchika Okada vs. JONAH, and Jay White vs. Tama Tonga for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
