Update On AEW's Booking Of 'The Devil’

All Elite Wrestling fans have all been asking one question; just who is ‘The Devil’ that has been causing havoc backstage in the company?

A report from Fightful Select says that not only have AEW decided who is under the mask (and the masks of The Devil’s associates) but that the wrestlers in question have been filming the segments under the hoods, rather than AEW just using stand-ins ahead of an eventual reveal.

Fightful’s report continues, noting that those in the know have kept a tight lid on the identities of the Devil and co., with ‘several’ in the organisation being fully clued into plans.

Those spoken to about the angle don’t believe CM Punk to be under the hood, with Punk having a little fun on social media suggesting he could be. It’s also believed that Britt Baker hasn’t been in the mask either.

All manner of names have been suggested by fans as the identity of ‘The Devil’, from Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and The Kingdom, to Punk, Baker, or even a new signing.
