Revealed: Why CM Punk Has Been Teasing He Is The AEW Devil

Reason CM Punk has been teasing he is AEW's Devil

CM Punk has been having some fun on social media over the past week as the two-time AEW World Champion has repeatedly teased be might be the man under the mask as All Elite Wrestling's Devil.

Although speculation has also tipped Punk to be shockingly revealed as 'The Devil', the free agent isn't believed to be the masked character, Fightful Select has reported. Haus of Wrestling also noted that Punk is not 'The Devil' and Punk is simply "just having fun playing into the perceived teases that he is returning to WWE or AEW."

Punk is said to be well aware of the speculation around his future and he is regularly asked on the streets of Chicago about possibly being 'The Devil' or a potential return at WWE Survivor Series. Punk is currently not planned to make his WWE return at Survivor Series, though, having been rejected by Vince McMahon, Triple H, and Nick Khan

Instead of returning to pro wrestling at the moment, Punk is focused on "minding his own business and caring for his dog, Larry."

Punk does have other options in pro wrestling outside of All Elite Wrestling and WWE, with the likes of TNA Wrestling and the NWA having previously expressed interest in the Second City Saviour.
