Update On AEW's Upcoming 2024 PPV Schedule

AEW will not be hosting a PPV for two months

2023 saw a big shake up when it comes to the AEW PPV calendar. The first few years saw the “big four” AEW PPVs in Revolution, Double or Nothing, All Out, and Full Gear, and in 2022 the Forbidden Door super-show with NJPW was added to that schedule too. This year has seen even more shows added, specifically in the latter half of the year.

All In, WrestleDream, and Worlds End were all included in the PPV schedule, and from August to December there was one PPV per month. This trend will not continue though in 2024 per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

“In a surprise, since they added two three new PPV shows from the end of August through the end of December, but the plan is to go from Worlds End to Revolution on 3/3.”

January and February will both not host a PPV event, which gives AEW roughly two months straight worth of build for Revolution without any PPVs in between.
