AJ Francis stuck in a ladder wincing in pain

There was a rough spot in the Four Way Ladder Match at TNA Slammiversary which caused a unique landing at the July 20 pay-per-view.

The match featured The Hardys, The Nemeths, First Class, and The Rascalz. First Class' AJ Francis and KC Navarro came close to reaching the TNA World Tag Team Titles at one point in the match, only to be pushed from the ladder onto ladders on the outside that were draped between the ring apron and barricade.

AJ Francis had a difficult landing, however, as he landed nether regions-first on a ladder. Fortunately, the former Top Dolla is okay following the spot, Fightful Select has reported. In a comment to the outlet, AJ Francis simply wrote, "big d*ck = cushion."

First Class ultimately didn't win the TNA World Tag Team Titles as the belts were eventually captured by The Hardys. A match of Matt and Jeff Hardy vs. Team 3D at Bound for Glory was then set up post-match after Bully Ray confronted The Hardys.

AJ Styles also made his return to TNA at Slammiversary, although reports have noted that plans for Styles changed ahead of the pay-per-view.
