Update On Big E's WWE Contract
Latest on Big E being signed with WWE
Dec 3, 2024
Big E's WWE deal may be close to expiring.
It was announced in 2019 that the New Day of Big E, Xavier Woods, and Kofi Kingston had all signed five-year deals with WWE that would keep them under contract until the end of 2024.
Fightful Select has noted that as of the Summer, WWE were not believed to have added injury time to Big E's contract. The former WWE Champion has not wrestled since a severe neck injury in March 2022 but he has continued to work as a pre-show analyst and make appearances across WWE platforms, which would count towards his deal.
Big E may have re-signed with WWE but it is unknown if that is the case. The 38-year-old made his first appearance on Monday Night Raw in years on December 2 as part of the 10-year anniversary of The New Day. The reunion didn't go as Big E expected, though, as Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston turned heel on Big E and kicked him out of the faction.
