Update On Black Taurus After Impressive AEW & ROH Matches

What is the contract situation with Black Taurus?

Could Black Taurus be about to sign for All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor?

The luchador recently impressed in matches for the Tony Khan-owned promotions, including a AAA Mega Title match with El Hijo Del Vikingo at the ROH Final Battle pay-per-view.

A rematch will air on tonight's (December 22) edition of AEW Rampage.

Providing an update on the status of Black Taurus, PWInsider Elite noted that the 36-year-old is currently signed to Mexico's AAA promotion. It did not specify how long his deal is, though he has been working there since 2018 (having initially left in 2016).

LuchaBlog did note on December 15, however, that: "As best as I understand, Black Taurus has been working in Impact/TNA without a contract. Same with AAA. He isn't signed long-term with Ring of Honor or AEW either at this point, though I believe that's the goal."

A couple of months back it was reported that AEW were involved in a 'tricky' partnership in trying to keep both AAA and rival company CMLL happy.

As well as AAA, IMPACT/TNA and AEW/ROH, Black Taurus has worked for MLW and PWG in recent years.
