Update On Bray Wyatt's Wrestling Future Reportedly Emerges

Wyatt was released by WWE in late July

The former Bray Wyatt hasn't been seen in any form of wrestling context since being released by WWE at the end of July.

Windham Rotunda has only wrestled one match in 2021, at WWE WrestleMania 37 against Randy Orton, but has continually been linked with a move to either All Elite Wrestling or Impact Wrestling since departing his former employer.

In a brief update, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer newsletter notes that Rotunda was not eager on returning to wrestling so soon after leaving WWE and is focuing on the horror movie project he is working on.

It is noted that Rotunda was one of the top five or six highest paid wrestlers in WWE at the time of his departure and, unless he was living a particularly lavish lifestyle, won't be in any difficult financial positions that could force him into a return.

It is further indicated that the former WWE Champion has held conversations with both AEW and IMPACT but neither promotion, at the time, was able to get close to a monetary offer that tempted him.
