Update On Brock Lesnar's WWE Status Following Triple H's Comments
Whether Lesnar comes back to WWE or not is dependent on one important thing.

The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer has provided an update on Brock Lesnar's WWE status, following Paul "Triple H" Levesque's recent comments about The Beast Incarnate.
Levesque noted that he was open to bringing Lesnar back to WWE, while suggesting that the ball was in Brock's court as to whether he wanted to step back into the ring.
Meltzer, however, has claimed that any Lesnar return would be dependent on getting the green light from WWE's lawyers due to Lesnar's name being implicated in Janel Grant's lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis.
Speaking on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said:
"If Brock (Lesnar) calls (WWE) and goes, 'I wanna come back for WrestleMania this year', I was told that the lawyers advised nothing to do with Brock right now. That could change, they could go in there and say there's been enough time. And I'm sure that's what it was gonna be, is like 'When is enough time to where we can think we can bring him back'. And that's what it is. It's not like, nothing like 'Oh we can bring back Brock', and maybe they could but it's got everything to do with the case, and obviously he (Triple H) won't say that publicly, and perhaps he shouldn't. But if he comes back it's because the lawyers have okay'd it, and if he doesn't come back, it's because they haven't".
Lesnar's last WWE appearance came at SummerSlam 2023 (where he lost to Cody Rhodes). A planned appearance in the 2024 Royal Rumble match, followed by matches with Dominik Mysterio and Gunther, were scrapped in the wake of Grant's lawsuit.
