Bronson Reed looks angry following his match with Seth Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel 2024

Bronson Reed has been out of action since Survivor Series 2024, with Reed breaking his foot when attempting a tsunami splash from the top of the WarGames cage.

The former NXT North American Champion underwent surgery to correct the issues in December, but the injury was more complicated than initially believed. In an update, PWInsider states that Reed was in Birmingham, Alabama this week to get his latest prognosis and timetable for his in-ring return. Whilst it has not been revealed what the outcome of this consultation was, original reports suggested he could return to the ring in May or June, with WrestleMania 41 definitely off the cards for Reed.

Reed himself spoke of the severity of the injury in early 2025, noting how his talus bone was ‘smashed in half’, with surgeons removing fragments of the bone whilst repairing it with screws and bone marrow taken from his hip.

Prior to his injury, Reed was in the midst of a strong push on WWE Raw, with Reed having repeatedly crushed Seth Rollins with a series of tsunami splashes on multiple occasions.
