Update On CJ Perry's AEW Status Following All Out

CJ Perry might not be with AEW for very long

CJ Perry (FKA Lana) made her AEW debut at Sunday's All Out pay-per-view as she made the save for Miro following The Redeemer's win over Powerhouse Hobbs. Both men initially shook hands after the match but Perry hit the ring with a chair and hit Hobbs in the back. Hobbs soon batted away the weapon but this allowed Miro to recover and he decked Hobbs with the chair to clear the ring. In somewhat of a surprise, Miro was annoyed by Perry's presence and he left her behind in the ring.

The interaction doesn't bode well for Perry's long-term future with All Elite Wrestling and Tony Khan revealed in the post-All Out media scrum the former Lana isn't signed with AEW on a long-term deal.

"Well, CJ, I'll start with that. I think it's great to have CJ here. It's not a long-term guaranteed thing or anything. But I think at least for tonight, it was great to have her appearing with us. I think it was a great surprise, a great show," Khan said.

Perry previously performed in WWE from 2013 until her release in June 2021. She was linked with Miro (then Rusev) for much of that time either managing or feuding with her husband.
