Update On Darby Allin's Injury Status

Darby Allin hasn't been on AEW TV since Double Or Nothing

Earlier this year, Darby Allin suffered from a broken foot during a match with Jay White, ruling him both out of action and a planned climb of Mount Everest. In his time away from the ring, Allin was hit by a bus. Despite this, Allin made a surprising return as the final member of Team AEW for the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double Or Nothing 2024 against The Elite. During the match, Allin set fire to Jack Perry, but was later hung from his legs in the ring for many minutes in a scary spot.

Following this match, Allin has not been back on AEW programming, and Fightful Select have provided an update on his status and absence.

It is reported that Allin has been given more time off by AEW in order to heal up after the bout. This is likely both due to healing from whatever minor injuries he suffered in the match itself (it was reported that he avoided any major injuries in the match), but also from his previous injuries that he was ruled out for originally.
