Update On Hikuleo's WWE Status Months After Signing

Hikuleo has been signed to a WWE deal for several months but the son of Haku has yet to appear on any WWE programming since joining the company.

In an update, Fightful Select has reported that Hikuleo has been listed on the WWE internal roster for months but he was not factored into creative plans upon joining the company. WWE creative on the main roster were informed that Hikuleo had been signed by the organisation, however.

Hikuleo signed with WWE in July 2024 only one month after he finished up with New Japan Pro-Wrestling at June's Dominion show where he and El Phantasmo dropped the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Titles to Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste of TMDK.

The 34-year-old joined NJPW in 2016 and received a sustained push from early 2023 until his exit from New Japan. During his time with the company, Hikuleo held the NJPW STRONG Openweight Title, IWGP Tag Team Championships, and NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Titles.

Another possible future Bloodline member in Lance Anoa'i was signed by WWE in 2024 but he was injured soon after and he will be out of action until later this year.
