WWE have signed another member of the Anoa’i family.

An Instagram post from a WWE NXT referee hinted that Lance Anoa’i was now a part of WWE, with the former MLW talent being spotted wearing an NXT hoodie. Fightful Select has since reported that Lance signed with WWE this past Summer.

There are no imminent plans for Anoa’i to appear on WWE NXT or the main roster as he is dealing with an injury and likely won’t be cleared for in-ring action for some time.

The son of Samu, Lance Anoa’i began his pro wrestling career back in 2010. He was a part of Major League Wrestling from 2018 until 2023, making his debut against a certain Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Lance was later a part of Samoan SWAT Team and he held the MLW World Tag Team Titles for 182 days in 2023 with Juicy Finau. Anoa’i was granted his release from MLW in October 2023.

Lance has previously had multiple WWE tryouts. He has also competed in Pro Wrestling NOAH’s 2023 N1-Victory tournament, earning victories over the likes of former GHC Heavyweight Champion Go Shiozaki, future GHC Heavyweight Champion El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., and future AJPW Triple Crown Champion Yuma Anzai.

Another member of the Anoa'i family waiting to make their WWE debut is Hikuleo. who signed with the company earlier this year.
