Rob Van Dam returned to WWE, but more importantly he returned to Philadelphia’s ECW Arena, with the ‘Whole F’n Show’ appearing at NXT 2300 on November 6.

The ECW legend did not wrestle on the show, but he still got his hands a little dirty, distracting Wes Lee during his match with Je’Von Evans, allowing Evans to hit a 5 Star Frog Splash across the ring to win the match. Lee had earlier attacked Van Dam backstage during a segment between RVD and Kelani Jordan.

On X/Twitter, a fan tweeted RVD to say they wished Van Dam got a match on the show, to which Van Dam replied: “Me too. But I’ll be back.”

Van Dam last wrestled in a WWE ring in 2014, with his last televised match a count out victory over Seth Rollins on an August episode of WWE Main Event.

RVD has made sporadic appearances for the company since 2019, receiving his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021. Despite this, RVD still wrestles across the American indies and even wrestled a handful of matches for All Elite Wrestling in 2023 and 2024.
