Update On How Long Randy Orton Has Been Training For WWE In-Ring Return

Latest on Randy Orton's WWE comeback

Randy Orton is getting ready for his in-ring comeback and the 14-time world champion was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Reports have stated that Orton has been taking part in mandatory training at the Performance Center, although he is reportedly not yet cleared to step back inside the squared circle on WWE TV. Orton has been out of action with a serious back injury since May 2022 and he underwent back fusion surgery later in the year.

Orton's father "Cowboy" Bob Orton revealed in 2023 that Randy had been advised to retire from professional wrestling by doctors. The former Evolution member still plans to make a comeback, however, and he had new ring boots made earlier this year.

While Orton was only spotted at the WWE Performance Center this week, he has been training for his in-ring return at the facility for the past three weeks, according to Bodyslam.net. Orton's tour bus has been a constant at the Performance Center in recent weeks too.

There is no word on when exactly Randy Orton will make his in-ring return.
