Update On IMPACT Wrestling's Reported Attempts To Bring In Braun Strowman & Bray Wyatt

Strowman had been anticipated to join IMPACT Wrestling

IMPACT Wrestling have been keen on adding some significant star power to their roster in the form of notable WWE talent Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt, but a new update suggests that a deal for either is looking increasingly unlikely.

There had almost been an expectation that the former Strowman, Adam Scherr, would be making his IMPACT Wrestling debut at Bound For Glory 2021 over the weekend after being spotted in conversation with Executive Scott D'Amore.

However, according to Fightful Select, a deal has not been made between the two parties, which subsequently explains why 'The Monster Among Men' was not at the pay-per-view. It is also noted that IMPACT's roster believed Strowman would be joining the promotion from Bound For Glory on Saturday.

In regards to the former Bray Wyatt, the report goes on to say that IMPACT have made a significant effort to bring in Windham Rotunda, but a deal was never close to happening. In any case, Wyatt would not have been able to make his debut for IMPACT at Bound For Glory 2021 due to his 90-day non-compete clause still being in play.

Wyatt was released by WWE at the end of July, with his non-compete expiring at the end of this month.
