Update On Ivar After Being Pulled From WWE Raw

The March 25 edition of WWE Raw was set to feature Andrade el Idolo in singles action against Ivar of the Viking Raiders, but the match was changed to Andrade vs. Giovanni Vinci after Ivar was pulled from the show.

On Raw, General Manager Adam Pearce formally announced that Ivar was unable to compete, and an update from Fightful Select states that WWE sources indicated that Ivar is ‘fine’ and is expected back in the ring in quick fashion. No specific reason has been given as to why Ivar was pulled or what is keeping him from competing at the present time.

Ivar last competed on the March 4 edition of Raw, losing in singles competition against Sami Zayn. Ivar has been competing as a singles wrestler since late 2023, when tag partner Erik was taken off the road for ‘the foreseeable future’ in September 2023.

For Andrade, his win over Vinci was his second victory since returning at the Royal Rumble on January 27. Prior to defeating Vinci, he defeated Apollo Crews in his official singles return on the March 4 edition of Raw. Andrade has been positioned around The Judgment Day and most notably Dominik Mysterio on TV, and it remains to be seen what plans WWE have in store for the former NXT Champion heading into WrestleMania 40.
