Update On Jack Perry's AEW Suspension

Latest on Jack Perry’s suspension from AEW

We have not seen Jack Perry in an All Elite Wrestling ring since the Buy In pre-show match at All In on August 27, with Perry ‘indefinitely suspended’ by the company for his part in a backstage altercation with CM Punk shortly after his match.

Perry and Punk were both suspended for their conduct backstage, with Punk later fired. A new report from PWInsider states that Perry has allegedly served his suspension and is free to return to AEW television. However, the report also suggests that AEW are not wanting to rush the former FTW Champion’s return, in order to give as much space as possible between a Perry return and his scuffle with Punk.

The former ‘Jungle Boy’ ended a feud with HOOK at All In prior to his suspension, so from a storyline point of view there is no rush to bring him back.

Perry is far from the first person to be suspended by AEW for backstage altercations, with the likes of Eddie Kingston, Andrade el Idolo, and most famously CM Punk, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega having been suspended by the promotion at times over the past 18 months.
