Update On Jay White After Getting Banged Up At AEW Redemption 2026

Jay White made his long-awaited PPV return at AEW Redemption 2026, but was seemingly banged up after a tag loss to The Dogs.

White returned to All Elite Wrestling at Forbidden Door in June 2026 after over a year on the sidelines with injury, wrestling a handful of matches before a Double Chain tag loss with Bang Bang Gang partner Juice Robinson to The Dogs Clark Connors and David Finlay at Redemption on July 26.

Per a report from PWInsider, White was indeed ‘banged up’ following the physical bout, but there was no word from within AEW that White was expected to miss much time from the ring, if any.

White has suffered numerous injuries since signing with AEW in April 2023, with a shoulder injury in 2025 later requiring surgery. Upon his return to AEW at Forbidden Door, it was revealed that White was only cleared by AEW doctors the week of the show.

Since signing with AEW, White has held the AEW and ROH Trios Championships with Austin and Colten Gunn, and has successfully challenged for the AEW World Championship, and AEW World Tag Team Championships.
