Update On Naomi After Being Pulled From WWE Raw

One of the headline matches planned for Monday night's taping of Raw from Quebec City was cancelled just hours before the show went on the air as WWE announced Naomi was not medically cleared to compete.

This ultimately meant the planned Women's World Title match of Naomi vs. IYO SKY did not take place on Monday Night Raw. It was also hinted on the show that Naomi could be out for weeks, with it being insinuated between SKY and Stephanie Vaquer that the Women's World Championship match set for Clash in Paris could be in jeopardy.

In an update on Naomi, Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported the former TNA Knockouts World Champion was backstage at Raw in Quebec City before the show, which means WWE's announcement wasn't a cover for any travel issues.

It is unknown if Naomi was backstage once Raw went on the air on Netflix, and the reason for Naomi not appearing on the show was "very much kept quiet from other talents."

Naomi has been one of WWE's most-featured performers in 2025 and she won the Women's World Title at Evolution, having cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase.
