Update On Nikki Bella's WrestleMania Status Following Injury

A scary moment took place on last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown in which Nikki Bella seemed to roll her ankle during a match with Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, ruling her out of the remainder of the match as she was tended to by WWE’s medical staff. There was no initial indication on the severity of the injury, but we now know some more. 

Over the last week, Nikki Bella has been seen sporting a walking boot, offering up some worry and concern from fans due to her now announced match at WrestleMania 42 which sees The Bella Twins, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, Lyra Valkyria & Bayley, and The Irresistible Forces clash in a fatal four way for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. 

WWE have now announced that Bella was in fact injured on SmackDown last week and will be undergoing rehab on her foot in order to ensure she’s ready for WrestleMania 42. With WWE’s official match announcement coming after Bella’s injury, it looks as though WWE are in full expectation that the Hall Of Famer will compete at the show. Bella noted recently that this would be her final in-ring run within WWE.
