Update On Rhea Ripley's WWE Return Date

What's the status of the WWE Women's World Champion?

Rhea Ripley has not been seen on WWE television since she was attacked by the returning Nia Jax following her match with Raquel Rodriguez on the September 11 episode of Raw.

The current WWE Women's World Champion was temporarily written off television in order to go on vacation and has been spotted in public with her fiancée (and AEW star) Buddy Matthews in Australia.

During a Q&A session, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp noted that Ripley is due to come back to work sooner rather than later.

"I think she's supposed to be back either...maybe next week or the pay-per-view weekend," Sapp said. WWE Fastlane will take place this Saturday.

It is likely that Rhea will feud with Jax upon her return, though those creative plans have not been confirmed.

It is also likely that the 26-year-old will be heavily involved when WWE return to her native Australia for the Elimination Chamber premium live event on February 24. The show will take place at Optus Stadium in Perth, which has a capacity of around 61,000.
