Update On ROH Death Before Dishonor 2023 PPV Buys

Another successful ROH PPV for Tony Khan?

Ring of Honor held their latest pay-per-view on Friday, July 21 as Death Before Dishonor aired from the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey. The show has been praised by many and highlight matches included Athena vs. Willow Nightingale, Katsuyori Shibata vs. Daniel Garcia, Claudio Castagnoli vs. PAC, and the Fight Without Honor of Dark Order vs. The Righteous & Stu Grayson.

How well Death Before Dishonor performed on pay-per-view has yet to be fully revealed but Tony Khan noted in the post-show press conference that the event will likely end up as one of the most successful in ROH history. Death Before Dishonor was available to purchase on HonorClub, Bleacher Report, FITE TV, and traditional PPV.

"I think this will end up being one of the most successful shows in the history of ROH. But a large percentage of the most successful shows in ROH's 21-plus year history have been in the past year that I've been owning and running and presenting the company. I think that's come from having a great roster with AEW and also great relationships and wrestling we've been able to tap into, including stuff that Ring of Honor has done well in the past," Khan said.

"I think we took it to another level with one of the best main events in ROH and one of the best pay-per-views and certainly, like I said, top stars from New Japan, some top women wrestlers and lucha stars."

When Ring of Honor will return to pay-per-view has yet to be revealed.
