Update On Sasha Banks' Injury

"The Boss" was held off of Raw...

Just five nights ago, Sasha Banks had what most consider to be the best match of a fairly-maligned Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Her and Raw Women's champion Becky Lynch tore the house down inside the titular structure, mixing brutality with a number of creative stunts.

Banks was nowhere to be seen on the fallout episode of Raw, however, and reports emerged before the show that she had been scratched, due to a then-undisclosed injury.

PWInsider reported a few days ago that Banks was sidelined with a back injury, but have since updated their report to clarify that Banks has been hampered by a tailbone injury.

There is currently no timetable on Banks' return.

Lynch moved on from the rivalry this past Monday, working an all-champions non-title tag team bout that pitted her and SmackDown Women's champion Charlotte Flair against Women's Tag Team champions The Kabuki Warriors.

It's not known at this time if Banks will be present for Friday night's Draft edition of WWE SmackDown, in which she would likely be a higher-tiered pick.
