Update On Shane Taylor's AEW Contract Status

Shane Taylor’s presence on both AEW and ROH programming has increased over the last few months, with Shane Taylor Promotions (his team which also includes Lee Moriarty) striking up a short term feud with the Blackpool Combat Club on AEW Collision. Those keeping track will have also noticed that Taylor has not had an independent date since back in November.

The reason for this seems to be due to the fact that Taylor and AEW are now contractually connected in an exclusive deal. In a report from Fightful Select, it is revealed that after an inquiry into Shane Taylor’s contract status with AEW, confirmation that Taylor had in fact signed an official deal with AEW & ROH was given. After previously working without a contract, Taylor has now been signed exclusively by Tony Khan.

The report states that Taylor’s deal with AEW runs into July 2024, and right now there are plans in place to potentially add more members to Shane Taylor Promotions. His presence on AEW programming may in fact continue to grow if he manages to procure more allies.
