Update On Sonny Kiss' IMPACT Wrestling Status Following Bound For Glory

Former AEW star Sonny Kiss has landed in IMPACT

Sonny Kiss made her IMPACT Wrestling debut at this past weekend's Bound for Glory pay-per-view, appearing as a surprise entrant in the Call Your Shot battle royal.

Kiss entered at number 9 and managed to eliminate Gisele Shaw, before being eliminated by Matt Cardona and Brian Myers.

According to PWInsider Elite, Sonny will be a regular with IMPACT going forward. However, the outlet were unable to confirm whether or not the former AEW star has officially signed a deal.

The 29-year-old originally signed with Tony Khan's promotion in February 2019, however her contract was not renewed and she left AEW in September of this year.

Sonny subsequently revealed that she was shocked by her departure, telling Busted Open Radio

"When I got the call, I was shocked. Every single time I got sent to TV, I was there hours before doors opened. I worked my ass off every single week to make sure that this didn't happen. So, it's heartbreaking, 100 percent. I would beg sometimes to go to TV. 'Can I go just to train with Dustin, please?'"

During that interview, Kiss was told by IMPACT Wrestling creative team member/wrestler Tommy Dreamer to call him, intimating she may have a future with the group soon to revert back to their TNA branding.
