What’s next for Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay?
After their shock WWE releases in April 2021, fans have wondered what is next for The IIconics Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee (fka Billie Kay and Peyton Royce).
According to a report from Fightful Select, there has been interest from IMPACT Wrestling in bringing the duo over - whether as singles stars or as a team - but it doesn’t seem like a deal is being made. Fightful also reported that there has been interest in The IIconics from a new wrestling promotion set for this Autumn.
Fan speculation is that the ‘new promotion’ in question is NGW - an all women’s wrestling promotion that has been teased recently. Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee would need to sort working Visas if they are to stay in the USA, but this isn’t believed to be a major problem.
The IIconics 90-day no compete clause expired on July 14 2021, but aside from a few podcast appearances, word about their future in the wrestling business has been fairly quiet.
