With over three months until AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in London, England, ticket sales have so far been strong, with the show expected to become the third largest gate in AEW history.

A report from early May stated that ticket sales had already passed the $1 million mark, and a report from WrestleTix on X/Twitter shows that AEW have shifted over 11,600 tickets for the event, with over 100 days to go until bell-time.

Taking place in London’s The O2, Forbidden Door is currently set up for 14,234 fans, but there is the potential to open up an additional 3,300 seats if demand calls for it. Tickets went on sale on May 2, and if AEW can keep up such momentum then it seems likely the show will sell out.

Forbidden Door will be AEW’s third major event in the UK, following on from All In 2023 and 2024 in Wembley Stadium. As part of the promotion’s trip to the UK in August, they have announced plans to run Dynamite and Collision in Glasgow’s OVO Hydro Arena on August 20 - marking AEW’s debut in Scotland.
