NXT’s Ridge Holland has been spotted at WWE’s Performance Centre recently, with the absent superstar stepping up his rehab with an eye on a return to the ring.

According to a report from PWInsider, Holland has poured all his effort into his rehabilitation, and has been praised for his attitude and focus in spite of such a debilitating injury.

Holland has been out of action since October 2020 after suffering a left ankle dislocation and fracture, a right knee patellar dislocation and a patellar tendon rupture on an episode of NXT, and successfully underwent surgery later in October.

The injury occurred after Holland had defeated Danny Burch in singles competition. The post-match angle saw Holland beating Burch down, only for Burch’s tag partner Oney Lorcan to make the save. As Lorcan and Burch brawled, Lorcan nailed a dive onto Holland, but Ridge’s ankle buckled upon contact. Referees realised this was not part of the angle and pulled Lorcan off, and stretchered Holland out of the CWC.

Despite Holland’s rehab, there is no timetable on his return.
