Report: NXT's Scarlett May Receive Separate WWE Main Roster Try-out from Karrion Kross

The duo have been backstage at recent Raw and SmackDowns

Scarlett reportedly looks set to have a WWE main roster try-out separate from her NXT partner Karrion Kross.

NXT champion Kross and North American Champion Bronson Reed were backstage at WWE SmackDown last week, competing in dark matches with Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode respectively, while the duo were also in action prior to Monday Night Raw.

The two NXT Champions competed against Shelton Benjamin and Drew Gulak respectively, in matches that will be broadcasted on WWE Main Event on Thursday, but Kross went to the ring unaccompanied by Scarlett.

Scarlett has been associated with Kross since they both joined WWE NXT last year but, according to F4WOnline.com, Scarlett is being considered for her own WWE main roster try-out with talk of her receiving the opportunity later this week, prior to SmackDown.

With WWE planning a draft shake-up of the roster following SummerSlam in August, it appears the promotion are ready to give a host of NXT talent a chance on the main roster. It remains to be seen if Scarlett and Kross remain together.
