Update On WWE's Bron Breakker Plans
What do WWE have planned for Bron Breakker?
Feb 20, 2024
Bron Breakker is officially a part of the WWE main roster, having signed with Friday Night SmackDown on the February 16 edition of the blue brand.
The Puppy Faced Gremlin looks set to have a big future in WWE and was even endorsed by Triple H following SmackDown. The immediate plans for Breakker look set to see him split his time between SmackDown and NXT as he remains one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions with Baron Corbin.
The tag team could make their way to the main roster too, with Fightful Select reporting the Wolf Dogs have continued to impress WWE officials and internal discussions have involved Corbin potentially joining Breakker on the main roster. The tag team would possibly receive a new name, though, with 'Spear of Days' said to be under consideration.
Breakker will be in action on Friday's episode of SmackDown but WWE are seemingly looking to push him to the top, having given Breakker a "Best Spear in the Business" t-shirt as merch. Paul Heyman was in the room with Breakker on SmackDown and Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter this could eventually lead to a programme with Roman Reigns. The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion also uses the Spear as his finisher.
