Omos Addresses Barely Wrestling On WWE TV

WWE Superstar Omos has spoken about being an "attraction."

WWE Superstar Omos has spoken about barely wrestling on TV. In a recent interview with SE Scoops, he explained:

"You know, I'm an attraction, they call me when they need to make the big bucks, that's when they call me when they need me. When they wanna see me on TV, man, cash those checks when you see me on TV."

Omos seems to be right about being a special attraction. Although a regular on the live event circuit, having beaten Akira Tozawa numerous times in recent months, five of his past nine broadcast WWE bouts have been on pay-per-view cards.

The most recent of these was the men's Royal Rumble match in January. His last broadcast singles match came at Backlash 2023, facing Seth Rollins in a losing effort.

Omos also spoke about the importance of WrestleMania in the build-up to the 40th edition of the event, which is set to take place on April 6 and 7 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Omos stated:

"To be honest, WrestleMania literally changed my life. I made my debut at WrestleMania, you know, with AJ Styles and the tag team titles. I will never forget it for the rest of my life, like that is in my brain. Although I didn't know I would be booked, the next year against Bobby Lashley in Dallas was tremendous, just me on my own, which I think was my 3rd year in the business. To then do it with Brock [Lesnar], every year it just keeps going higher and higher. To me, WrestleMania holds a special place in my heart."
