Update Provided On The Future Of Bryan Danielson's AEW Career

Bryan Danielson's run as a full time wrestler is ending soon

The status of Bryan Danielson’s in-ring career in AEW has been the subject of a lot of speculation, with it being widely expected (and stated from his own mouth) that this year is likely his last as a full-time competitor. On last night’s episode of AEW Collision, this was fully confirmed.

Tony Khan and Bryan Danielson cut a backstage promo announcing the arrival of a round-robin tournament called the AEW Continental Classic, and amidst that some updates were given about Danielson’s immediate AEW future. It was doubled down upon that this was his last year as a full-time star, but before his time in the ring slows down, fans will see him return to the ring for this tournament.

It was also announced that despite Danielson’s schedule lessening, he will be available to work at the upcoming AEW All In 2024 event in London, England. Danielson missed the 2023 event through injury, and he noted how excited he is to be there this time around.
