Updated AEW Rampage Ratings Following Nielsen Reporting Error

Not as bad as first thought for AEW Rampage

The June 17 episode of AEW Rampage did not produce historic lows for the show after all.

It was initially reported that Rampage averaged 331,000 total viewers and 132,000 in the important 18-49 demographic on June 17, which drew a 0.10 rating.

Nielsen have since re-issued the ratings due to undercounting out-of-home viewing and the new readings revealed Rampage was actually 11 percent higher in total viewership and 17 percent higher in 18-49 than initially believed. The episode actually averaged 369,000 viewers and 155,000 in 18-49 for a 0.12 rating, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

This means the May 6 episode of Rampage that aired at 5:30 pm ET is still the lowest-rated show in 18-49. The June 17 episode, however, was the least-viewed Rampage in both total viewership and 18-49 when the show has aired in its usual 10 pm ET timeslot.

Last week's episode of AEW Rampage featured a TBS Title match between Jade Cargill and Willow Nightingale, Jon Moxley vs. Dante Martin, and the return of Sting following Darby Allin's main event win over Bobby Fish.
