NJPW Running Event Over WWE SummerSlam Weekend

NJPW to be a part of WWE SummerSlam weekend

New Japan Pro-Wrestling will be a part of WWE SummerSlam weekend.

The promotion announced today they will hold 'Music City Mayhem' at the Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee as part of Starrcast V. The event will take place on Saturday, July 30.

What time the show will begin and who will be in action has yet to be revealed. NJPW did tout that their "best" will be in Nashville for the event, however.

Tickets for Music City Mayhem go on sale on Monday, June 27 at 10 am CT. The event will air live on FITE.

NJPW have held STRONG tapings and special events across the United States since the summer of 2021. The promotion will hold another show in the US later this week when they collaborate with All Elite Wrestling for the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 26.

Another event that will be a part of Starrcast V is 'Ric Flair's Last Match'. The 16-time world champion's retirement match is set to take place on July 31 but who Flair will face has not been announced as of yet.
