Updated NJPW G1 Climax 31 Standings After Day 10

Chase Owens defeats Tanahashi and more

New Japan Pro-Wrestling returned to Korakuen Hall today for the latest round of B Block matches in G1 Climax 31.

In one of the shocks of the tournament, Bullet Club's Chase Owens defeated IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi clean in the middle of the ring to record his first win of G1 Climax 31.

Tensions within Bullet Club also continued to rise as the House Of Torture's SHO and Dick Togo interfered to help EVIL defeat his fellow faction-mate Tama Tonga.

The results were more predictable elsewhere on the card as Kazuchika Okada defeated SANADA, Jeff Cobb vanquished Taichi and Hirooki Goto picked up his first win of the tournament against his Chaos stable-mate YOSHI-HASHI.
