New Japan Pro-Wrestling headed to the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium for day nine of G1 Climax 31 on Sunday, October 3.

The show featured several major A Block matches as KENTA managed to defeat Great-O-Khan, while Kota Ibushi pinned IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Shingo Takagi following a Kamigoye.

Zack Sabre Jr.'s undefeated run also came to an end at the hands of Tomohiro Ishii.
