A huge upset capped off night one of WWE NXT Halloween Havoc on Tuesday, October 24.

Becky Lynch defended the NXT Women's Championship against Lyra Valkyria in the main event of the Tuesday night show and Lynch shockingly dropped her title to Valkyria. The challenger initially kicked out of one Manhandle Slam and Valkyria countered a second attempt from Lynch into a roll-up for the victory.

Lynch then looked to give Valkyria the rub after the match, handing the NXT Women's Title to the new champion before NXT went off the air with Valkyria holding the title belt aloft.

How long Valkyria will be champion, though, remains to be seen as Jade Cargill was shown sitting on a throne during the main event and the former AEW TBS Champion was shown again following the match.

Valkyria earned a title shot after winning a Triple Threat against Roxanne Perez and Indi Hartwell on October 3. Valkyria's win at Halloween Havoc ends Becky Lynch's NXT Women's Title reign after 42 days. Lynch captured the belt on September 12 with a win over Tiffany Stratton and she went on to defend the belt against the likes of Indi Hartwell, Natalya, and Tegan Nox.

The NXT Women's Championship wasn't the only title change of the night, however, as Chase U's Andre Chase and Duke Hudson defeated Tony D'Angelo and Stacks to capture the NXT Tag Team Titles. The title change occurred following interference from Jacy Jayne, who introduced a crowbar to the mix. Andre Chase didn't want to use the weapon but he used the distraction to roll up D'Angelo for the victory.

The match ended the D'Angelo family's reign after 86 days.
