US Title Steel Cage Match Announced For 9/5 WWE Raw

The fallout from WWE Clash at the Castle commences this Monday night, as United States champion Bobby Lashley defends his title against The Miz inside of a fifteen foot high steel cage.
The match takes place seven days after Lashley won a non-title match over Miz on another episode of Raw, after Dexter Lumis distracted The Miz from the crowd. Lumis had previously "abducted" Miz as part of an angle.
The bout was facilitated by a video Miz posted to social media, in which he claimed he would have beaten Lashley on Monday's Raw had it not been for the interference of Lumis. Miz also says he wants to make the United States title relevant again, thus he's demanding the title match.
Lashley accepted the challenge in his own social media video.
Lashley has been the United States champion since defeating Austin Theory at Money in the Bank on July 2. The Miz previously held the US title on two occasions.
Monday's Raw takes place at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. No other matches or segments have been announced for the broadcast.
