Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard & Other Key Executives Reportedly Absent From WWE Raw

John Laurinaitis reportedly ran the show

Vince McMahon and a number of other key WWE personnel and executives were reportedly not in attendance for the December 27 episode of Monday Night Raw.

PWInsider is reporting that WWE Chairman McMahon heads a list of names that were not physically at the Raw taping in Detroit, Michigan, this week. Other notable individuals missing include Bruce Prichard, Kevin Dunn, Michael Hayes and Adam Pearce.

It is believed that John Laurinaitis and Ed Koskey - WWE's Vice President of Creative Writing - were in charge of running Raw on Monday.

The exact reason for McMahon and other executives being absent is unknown but it has been reported that a significant number of talent and WWE personnel have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past ten days.

It is believed the promotion have kept certain individuals away from tapings and Live Events in order to preserve the integrity of this coming weekend's WWE Day 1 pay-per-view as well, hence a number of notable changes to the advertised cards at WWE house shows.

It was noted by PWInsider that this Monday's Raw saw WWE producers 'hit hard' by coronavirus, leaving the promotion with just half of their usual allocation.
