Vince McMahon Knew About Chris Jericho Signing For All Elite Wrestling

Y2J and McMahon had a private conversation before the AEW fan rally...

Earlier this week, the All Elite 'Double or Nothing' fan rally ended with Chris Jericho making an appearance. Y2J said that he was All In with All Elite and that he was ready to help Messrs Rhodes, Jackson, and Page take over the universe before signing on the dotted line with President Tony Khan.

Jericho told Sirius XM's Busted Open that Vince McMahon wasn't blindsided by the appearance at the rally, as the pair had a private conversation beforehand: “A lot of that stuff is private but I did have a very amicable conversation with him," said Jericho.

"He knew what I was doing, it wasn’t a surprise. I didn’t just show up in Jacksonville and that was it. The bottom line is the Khan family isn’t messing around. They want to make a go at this and you know they have a lot of money and they have a lot of capital.”

It appears that Jericho has a pretty special relationship with Vince, as Chris told the story of them having a similar interaction before The Alpha debuted in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
