As we all know, professional wrestling is a ruthless business for those who step inside the ring. Injuries occur, and can't be helped - getting in the way of a potential Superstar's rise to the top on far too many occasions to recall.

It appears the latest would-be star to succumb to this fate is Tino Sabbatelli, who is everything Vince McMahon allegedly sees in a WWE Superstar, and more.

Due to injury setbacks, Tino is being tried out as an announcer - according to Dave Meltzer in this week's

Wrestling Observer Newsletter

.

For the avoidance of any doubt, here's what Dave penned in this week's WON: "There was talk of giving Tino Sabbatelli a look as a TV announcer. Sabbatelli has been having issues since his recent surgery and the description to us is the situation is similar to that of Jason Jordan. But he hasn’t been cleared to return and may not be any time soon."

Should Tino make the transition from in-ring performer to announcer, he would follow in the footsteps of Corey Graves, who hasn't done too badly for himself since being forced to retire back in 2014 due to issues surrounding concussions.
